Camp College June 15-17, 2025 St. Olaf College Camp College is a two day pre-college experience where underrepresented and first generation Minnesota high school students are exposed to college campuses, get mentoring experience, and learn valuable application and financial aid information. | Admission Counselor Institute July 28-29, 2025 Minnesota State University, Mankato ACI is a great opportunity for college admission counselors who have completed one admission cycle (or less) and are seeking information about college counseling. | Minnesota Education Fairs September 15, 2025 - February 26, 2026 MEFs are college fairs held in mid-fall and spring throughout Minnesota at high schools and other venues. They are a result of the collaborative work of MACAC, public and private postsecondary schools, and high schools. College representatives from postsecondary schools throughout the Midwest and other states attend to share information about their educational programs with students and parents. |
Leadership Development Program
Applications are open for Minnesota Association for College Admission Counseling (MACAC)'s nationally recognized Leadership Development Program (LDP). We encourage applications from professionals who assist students in the transition to post-secondary education and who have a desire to deepen their impact in the profession. Program participation is limited to 12 individuals. Questions can be directed to ldp@mn-acac.org, or visit the program site.
Professional Development GrantThe Professional Development Grant is designed to support membership by funding professional development opportunities. The Professional Development Grant will cover the cost of registration, hotel, airfare, meals, and membership fee (when applicable). All MACAC members are invited to apply. Secondary school counselors are strongly encouraged to apply. Professional Development Grant Applications are due four weeks prior to the event. |
