In an effort to reach more students and serve a greater number of Minnesota students, the Minnesota Education Fair (MEF) Committee of the Minnesota Association for College Admission Counseling (MACAC) extends the opportunity to communities across Minnesota to host an education fair in their area.

An ideal site will be able to:

• Provide adequate space and parking for approximately 75-120 college representatives.
  
• Bring in a strong turnout of students (and families), with attendance being represented from more than one school in the area.
  
• Reach students in areas of MN that aren’t currently being served.
  
• Be willing to rotate the location of the fair each year with other host sites in a reasonable distance.
  
• Have some flexibility in dates and times.
  
• Fit the length of the fair within a ninety-minute time frame.
  
• Be willing and able to work with student population to register online prior to the MEF for lead retrieval technology (scanners).
  

MACAC will provide:

• A budget to help offset the cost of hosting a college fair
  
• Support and training in organizing, inviting and hosting the MEF
