Testimonials

"This was an amazing conference that educated, empowered and supported professional doing diversity, access and inclusion work on the university, CBO, and High school levels. I left this conference knowing that my work matters and that it is everyone's job to fight for access, equity for all our students...I am thankful to the Legacy Grant and the committee members for providing me this opportunity."
- Nawang Palkit, 2019 NACAC Guiding Way to Inclusion

"The conference had a variety of sessions, and I learned more about involvement opportunities in ACAC, transfer credits from high schools, how enrollment managers think, and many other hot topics in the industry. Most importantly, I met new people in the field and learned about the variety of career paths. Learning about other professional's career paths always helps me refine my future plans and consider other possibilities."
- Elizabeth Strom, 2018 Midwest Conference

"I would 100 percent recommend a legacy grant to a colleague. The opportunity to be able to attend an event such as the NACAC conference, was such a valuable experience to better myself, and expand my horizons throughout the higher education industry."
- Kate Tamm, 2017 NACAC National Conference

"I gained a lot of valuable information during the NACAC conference this year. One of the biggest things I learned was more about the governing body process/voting procedures within NACAC. Specifically, I found it valuable to participate in and learn about the national AP committee....After attending, I am excited to engage more with a few SIGs, and hope that engagement will continue to provide me with new info and perspective in my work." "
- Libby Fahrenkamp, 2019 NACAC National Conference

"I was able to reconnect with many fellow college friends and peers as well as make so many new connections! Definitely expanded my circle of MN connections! I will be using several ideas that I learned ... Many many thanks for a truly wonderful experience!""
- Mo Moos, 2019 NACAC National Conference
