Labor Market Insights: Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED)

A representative from Minnesota DEED presents the most current data surrounding labor market insights from around the state. DEED uses employment data to highlight trends, as well as forecast demand for specific careers. Their presentation has been popular at past Show on the Road events and we expect the information to be as relevant as ever in this current landscape. The presentation will focus primarily on statewide employment, with some region-specific data included.

Admissions & Financial Aid Panel

This will be a Question & Answer panel session with admissions and/or financial aid professionals. You will have the opportunity to hear from a variety of institutions, including 2-year, 4-year, public and private. We'll discuss (and questions can be asked about) a variety of topics related to admission and application processes at different institutions, financial aid good-to-knows, changes over the past year, and more!

This hour-long session is designed to give counselors a chance to discuss current issues that are pertinent to their jobs, as well as brainstorm and share ideas for serving their students and supporting each other!
