Lead Retrieval Technology - Scanners

What is Lead Retrieval? Lead retrieval allows institutions to scan a barcode containing student information at a college fair. Information is collected in an excel file that is easily downloaded into various databases.

In the Midwest, scanners are currently in use in ND, SD, WI,  IA, and now MN – and are usable at any fair in these states. Students are encouraged to register their information online before attending a MEF and print off their own personal barcode. Scanners allow information to be collected with ease – with accurate information, in greater quantities, and allow more time for conversation with the student at the fair.

Students and High Schools

Instead of filling out numerous cards for each college you are interested at the college fair, you can now use your barcode to give colleges your information. When you are talking with a college representative, just ask them if they can 'scan' your barcode. Save time at the college fair!

Don't forget to pre-register your personal information online! Simply go to www.gotocollegefairs.com, select the fair you will be attending, enter your personal information and print off your barcode.

Colleges, Universities & Military Representatives

While there is no deadline to order your scanners and leads, it is highly recommended to order at the time of your registration for the MEFs.
