Financial Aid Workshop

MACAC's Financial Aid Workshop (FAW) is a great opportunity for both school counselors and college admission personnel to gain information and insight into the ever changing trends in student financial aid.

The Professional Development Committee is working on gathering sessions topics that will speak to legislative changes and scholarship processes as well as potential topics around the rising cost of college tuition and financial literacy training.

LEGACY GRANT

The Minnesota Association for College Admission Counseling is pleased to announce that we will be awarding 4 Legacy Grants for the Financial Aid Workshop at the University of St. Thomas on Wednesday, January 11, 2017. The Legacy Grant covers the cost of registration, 1 night hotel stay, 1 dinner, mileage, and membership fee.

Applicants must be MACAC members or recommended by a current MACAC member, so please share this exciting opportunity with your colleagues and friends who work in college counseling. Secondary school counselors are strongly encouraged to apply. Applications are due December, 9, 2016; decisions on the recipient will be made by December 16. APPLY NOW!
