Bethany Lutheran College on July 10-11, 2017 Through the support of the Minnesota Association for College Admission Counseling (MACAC) and the host college campus, Camp College is a free opportunity for rising seniors to learn about aspects of the college search and application process from college and high school counselors. Students will have the opportunity to live on campus and will be provided food and lodging free of cost.

Campers will also be paired with an experienced mentor in the college admissions process who will remain in contact with students for the school year.

When will it take place?
Students are expected to arrive on Monday, July 10 at 10:00 AM and will depart on the afternoon of Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 4:00 PM.
What does it cost?
FREE. Because of the generous support of MACAC, the college host and other sponsors, the camp can be offered with no cost to the students.
Who should apply?
This program is designed for current junior students (graduating class of 2018) from who would benefit from exposure to college preparatory information. The selection committee will give additional consideration to students from rural areas, first-generation college students, and students from low-income households. Students will have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
What is the application process?
STEP 1: Students need to submit a Camp College application and high school transcript by March 15.
STEP 2: Students must have a school counselor, teacher, or other adult associated with a school or community-based organization submit the Camp College Nominator Form.
The deadline for the above two steps is March 15.
STEP 3: The committee will select approximately thirty students to participate in Camp College. Students will be notified of their selection by Monday, May 1st, 2017. Selected students will be mailed and e-mailed a final permission form and must return the form signed by a parent/guardian by Friday, May 26th, 2017, to reserve their spot at Camp College.
